Greed:

Corporations hide their greed from investors. I heard a story about a banker showing off the great wealth his company had accumulated to a potential investor by bragging about their the yachts in the marina. The investor then asked the banker where all the investors yachts were moored. Read more on MSN - read more.

Western societies are increasingly more vulgar about their greed, and their being proud to be so greedy. Perhaps this page should be in the Spirituality Blog Section but it really is more about society. American society in particular looks to me to be insensitive to the welfare of others unless there is a natural disaster or the victims are abused by forces that the victims cannot control.

I have always thought that a great responsibility accompanies great wealth. The responsibility to assist others in living a better life.
