While i think it admirable for individuals to aspire to live a life where sex is not practiced in an attempt to equate chastity with spiritual evolution, I do not share his view. I think being human is something we cannot escape while inhabiting our carbon based life forms in this dimension.

Sex is a perfectly natural aspect of being human and for me quite pleasurable and enjoyable. I think the act of sex is a spiritual extension and a basic means to connect with another person on many levles. In my opinion sex is the perfect way to express love and sex is also a great tool for acheiving peace on Earth.

I find it impossible to conceive of a God or Creator type presence in the universe not wanting us to use everything available to us to experience happiness and pleasure. I understand that sex can be placed on the same level as all things material and how these things can be a block for some to acheive the full benefit of their spiritual journey.

For those who need to block things of this body and this world to progress on their journey, this is an essential step and the rest of us should make every effort to help them on their journey. At the same time, those who need to block must recognize that not all of us require the same things in our spiritual experience.

Pracitce the tools you need, and allow others to make the same choices.
