I am not certain that the author speaks from a place of observation, but I am certain the author speaks from a place of experience. The author's experience is one of a heightened spirituality most certaintly, but can the same experience be extended to an entire generation across the planet?

I see a humanity struggling to not only to evolve but also to merely exist. The history long problems facing our species not only continues but increases exponentially with each passing day. These struggles include poverty, hunger, disease, and all of the historically problematic conditions humans have endured throughout our shared experience.

I do not see these struggles diminshing but I hope that the author proves me wrong. If the author turns out to be correct about the statements made in the article become fact, then I hope I live to see these conditions become fact and can bear witness to the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, Ghandi, and Martin Luther King, Jr. becomeing a way of life for us all.
